EnergyHub gets VP
EnergyHub, an energy solutions provider, has appointed David Wechsler as vice-president of business development and utility operations, states Earth Times.
Wechsler will draw upon his 14 years of expertise in computing and smart grid technologies to oversee EnergyHub's partnerships and utility pilots.
"With EnergyHub's recent funding and the upcoming announcement of our initial large-scale pilots, we were ready to bring the company to the next level," says Seth Frader-Thompson, CEO of EnergyHub, "David's extensive experience and knowledge of the industry will help position EnergyHub to be a leader as we commercialise our technology and roll out to larger markets."
SuccessFactors appoints cloud visionary
SuccessFactors has named former eBay executive and cloud visionary Tom Fisher as vice-president of its cloud computing division, reports Trading Markets.
Fisher will lead SuccessFactors' cloud strategy and third party developer programmes.

SRI reappoints director
SRI International, an independent, non-profit research and development institute, has reappointed Gary Brown, director of the SRI-led Centre for Maritime and Port Security, as a member and advisor to the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC), says SysCon Media.
NMSAC is an advisory group that provides consultations and recommendations to the secretary of homeland security, via the commandant of the Coast Guard.
"I am honoured to be reappointed to this important committee and have the opportunity to share SRI's expertise in technology innovations to meet national defence needs," says Brown.
