Direct Channel Marketing invests further R1.6m in DataVoice solutions

Direct Channel Holdings, SA's largest outsource contact centre, has invested an additional R1.6 million in DataVoice voice recording solutions from Business Connexion, a value-added reseller (VAR) of Spescom DataVoice.

Direct Channel conducts telemarketing campaigns for clients in various industries, most notably in the financial services and insurance sector where the voice recording of each call is a critical requirement.

Direct Channel has purchased a DataVoice full enterprise voice recording solution, which includes the Orion Professional recorder and Nexus Enterprise management system. The technology will be utilised in its new 650-seat call centre facility in Randburg.

Spescom DataVoice provides turnkey voice transaction management recording solutions that not only record all calls but also manage the system in terms of call statistics, alarm monitoring and speech biometrics.

Spescom DataVoice commercial manager, Leon Rusch, says: "Direct Channel needed a reliable voice transaction management system, which we successfully deployed. The technology not only assists the client in the fulfilment of legal obligations but also helps them to deliver world competitive customer service."
