Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, this week unveiled two business reporting solutions designed for individuals and small to mid-sized organisations.
The two products are Crystal Vision, aimed at individual users, and Crystal Vision Server, designed for managed environments.
Crystal Vision simplifies access to company data and creates Crystal Reports, which are transformed into interactive dashboards on the desktop.
Crystal Vision Server provides an affordable solution for designing business reports and dashboards, which can be securely managed and shared live in Microsoft Office and over the Web, says the company.
Both allow customers to access information in databases and applications across the organisation, create reports and dashboards, and distribute information.
The Crystal Vision products include Crystal Live Office, enabling users to access live data from Microsoft Office, and integrate Crystal Reports with Crystal Xcelsius, a data visualisation solution.
