The Kwa-Zulu Natal regional office of Premier ACCPAC Solution Provider, AccTech Systems, is currently in the process of streamlining the IT back office solutions at the Natal Sharks Pty (Ltd).
"AccTech secured the Sharks account in December 2002 when we upgraded the union from ACCPAC for DOS to ACCPAC Advantage Series for Windows," says Mark Warriker, KZN regional manager at AccTech Systems. "Since then, the company realised the potential that ACCPAC offers and now utilises a broad spectrum of ACCPAC`s end-to-end business solutions."
Carrie-Ann Truter, IT manager for the Sharks confirms this statement. "We were extremely happy with the traditional ACCPAC financial modules and thus, the evolution to integrated Point-of Sale (POS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions was the logical step. AccTech`s understanding of our IT Strategy and their background with our financial system, made our choice of ACCPAC Business Partner an easy one".
Keith Fenner, manager: solutions and business development at AccTech, explains. "The Shark Cage is the Shark`s retail division, and they can run up to 10 000 retail transactions on any given match day. They required a solution that could offer a seamless integration to the financial modules monitoring the stock levels and processing the cash transactions, captured at the multiple till points. IsoPOS, a locally developed POS system for ACCPAC, was the chosen solution."
In the next phase of the installation AccTech will rollout ACCPAC CRM version 5.6.
"ACCPAC CRM has been chosen as the solution to efficiently manage and market to the rapidly growing Sharks supporter base," says Truter. "We are looking forward to the marketing automation and levels of control over our supporter`s database that ACCPAC CRM will offer.
"Sharks fans are our most important asset and ACCPAC`s range of products are helping us to not only effectively manage our financial back office, but now also maintain these levels of control in our merchandising and marketing divisions."
