BEA technology enables InterCall to connect hundreds of thousands of workers worldwide

InterCall, the world`s largest conferencing service provider, uses BEA WebLogic SIP server to bring IP-based services to market quickly, reliably and cost-effectively

1. InterCall, the world`s largest conferencing service provider, has successfully deployed its IP-based, next-generation conferencing product on BEA WebLogic SIP Server and BEA WebLogic Portal.

3. Due to the standardisation and ease of integration provided by BEA WebLogic SIP Server, InterCall reduced by one-third the time needed to develop new audio, video and Web conferencing services.

BEA Systems, Inc (NASDAQ: BEAS), a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software, today announced that InterCall, the world`s largest conferencing service provider, has successfully deployed its IP-based, next-generation conferencing product on BEA WebLogic SIP Server and BEA WebLogic Portal.

InterCall uses BEA technology to process millions of conferencing minutes per month and to create customised solutions for a majority of today`s Fortune 1000 companies.

With BEA WebLogic SIP Server at the application layer of its architecture, InterCall built a conferencing platform that is less expensive and more agile than any available off-the-shelf solutions.

Through the standardisation and ease of integration provided by BEA WebLogic SIP Server, InterCall reduced by one-third the time needed to develop new audio, video and Web conferencing services.

Additionally, the components-based structure of BEA WebLogic SIP Server is enabling InterCall to create customised call-flow applications with features such as a welcome greeting and hold music that can be tailored to individual customers.
