API Healthcare, a provider of human capital management solutions to the healthcare industry, has released Version 9.0 of its Navigator payroll and HR system, according to Your Story.
According to API, the application streamlines HR information management, automates manual tasks and empowers employees to manage their personal data. The latest release features a user interface designed to optimise workflow and enable seamless integration with other API Healthcare applications.

Gateshead's Cintra HR & Payroll Services plans to grow its 53-strong workforce up to around 100, and expects to see its multi-million pound turnover grow exponentially. Part of the firm's ambitious growth strategy comes from a new piece of software it has developed that will be market-ready by summer 2010.
The company has combined its separate HR and payroll software systems into one product, which has been warmly received in initial trials, according to the firm.
Partnership to reduce NHS absenteeism
Business software provider COA Solutions has partnered with workforce management company Smart, enabling COA Solutions to provide its National Health Service (NHS) customers with Smart's workforce management systems, states Public Technology.
Smart's solutions, which comprise staff bank management, electronic rostering and time and attendance software, link to the NHS-wide HR and payroll system, ESR, helping acute trusts, primary care trusts and mental health trusts to maximise the potential and efficiency of their staff.
Smart's solutions release highly skilled nurses from administration duties back to patient care while reducing absenteeism, improving staff retention and cutting labour costs by up to 5%.
