An improWEB e-commerce success story

Dr Feroz Bham, a GP by trade, started an e-commerce Web site called Fruity.co.za as a sideline business in the beginning of 2006. This was made possible by using the improWEB system, which did all the work for him.

Apart from selling products from integrated distributors, Dr Bham also sells his own products on the Web site. And, what started out as a sideline business has turned out to be very profitable for Dr Bham. In the last three months, Fruity had a turnover of about R90 000.

"It couldn`t be easier," says Dr Bham. "My integrated distributors maintain their products on my Web site for me, including images, and I only have to click once to import my own products from my Excel spreadsheet."

"In this whole process, my input and running costs are minimal," says Dr Bham. "The only thing that would improve my business is if more distributors become fully integrated."
