AccTech Systems, Premier Softline ACCPAC 2004 business partner of the year, installed ACCPAC Insight at gold and uranium resources company, Aflease, providing the company with advanced business intelligence tools to enhance its financial reporting capabilities.
"We installed ACCPAC Advantage Series version 5.3 with its transactional analysis capabilities as well as ACCPAC`s internal costing module," says Tertius Zitzke, managing director of AccTech Systems.
"ACCPAC Insight enables decision-makers to inquire, drill-down and report on valuable information from the ACCPAC financial system. The transactional analysis module enables users to link any transaction from an outside purchase to an internal costing or optional reporting field. These optional fields roll up to the general ledger and provide the functionality necessary to run trial balances and financial reports."
"We operate under ever-changing business conditions and with ACCPAC Insight we will be able to dramatically improve our reporting performance," says Lucille Dewald, project manager at Aflease.
"Operational managers can now create new templates quickly and easily in the familiar Microsoft Excel format. The wizard-driven design allows them to easily produce these reports in minutes, viewing financial data at company and departmental level."
Jeremy Waterman, managing director of Softline ACCPAC, says Aflease is now able to drill down into all the ACCPAC modules. "ACCPAC Insight extends far beyond a general ledger. It provides access to critical operational and sales data, as well as customer, product, vendor, employee and geographic data. Users can quickly integrate this data into meaningful reports and safely distribute them in real-time while applying user-level security," concludes Waterman.
