The Independent Communications Authority of SA (ICASA) has amended the dates for its public hearings into cellphone tariffs, and revealed the schedule and identities of the panellists to hear submissions.
The hearings - to investigate the high cost of mobile calls, and why the introduction of increased competition in the form of Cell C into the marketplace has not significantly reduced call costs - will allow all those who provided written submissions to present a verbal submission.

The venue is ICASA Block C, 164 Katherine Street, Sandton.
