Hotwire.com delivers express service to customers with CA`s Unicenter Autosys Job Management

Computer Associates International, Inc. today announced that Hotwire.com, a discount online travel site, has boosted its service levels, optimized its email marketing programs and maximized the business value of its IT investments by using Unicenter AutoSys Job Management - a robust, event-driven job management solution that manages and schedules critical business processes across multiple applications and disparate platforms from a common console.

Hotwire`s IT department determined that event-driven job scheduling could help improve service. By managing customer preferences, supplier pricing, and other critical data from a single point of control - and responding in an automated manner to business events defined by that data - Hotwire could improve service levels and execute more timely customer-driven email marketing initiatives, while making better use of its existing IT resources.
