The networking is in place and the third annual South African rAge gaming expo is "ready to rock 'n roll tomorrow", says Michael James, rAge organiser and NAG magazine editor.
On at The Dome in Northgate, the event`s doors open at 10am tomorrow and will stay open until 2 October.
The 700 network LAN seats, where gamers bring their own PCs and play games against each other, have been sold out, says James.
"We are also expecting anything between 15 000 and 20 000 attendees."
Some 62 exhibition stalls are open to attendees and will feature everything applicable to the IT leisure sector, says James.
On show is "the pizzazz of IT and not the dull stuff like printers", he notes.
Attendees will also be able to challenge the top gamer in the world, Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendell.
Fatal1ty will challenge gamers in five-minute, one-on-one duels in the game Painkiller.
