Novell picks Search Laboratory
Novell has appointed Search Laboratory to manage its search engine optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, states dBusiness News.
The infrastructure software company has specific requirements for its search marketing campaign, including multilingual SEO and PPC management and localisation of online advertising, which Search Laboratory will now provide.
The PPC management company's multilingual experience was vitally important in its selection. “It was a big decision for us to choose a European supplier,” says Novell electronic marketing director Kim Eaves. “Our main objective was to increase relevancy and visibility for Novell and our products, and increase sales.”
Tieto develops Vantaa solution
Tieto has signed a deal with Finnish urban energy company Vantaa Energy to provide the latter with an online billing system and customer information service, says The Paypers.
The agreement states the international software development company is to create a system package that allows Vantaa subscribers to access their energy accounts over the Internet and view up-to-date information, which is also to be included automatically in their energy bill.
"We want to invest strongly in online services. Today's young people will make their first electric agreement online," says Vantaa Energy ICT manager Juha Niemi. Vantaa Energy decided on the service solution offered by Tieto after an extensive market analysis.
Omniture surpasses 200 marketing partners
Omniture says its Genesis partner network has surpassed 200 partners, doubling the number of partners from the previous year, reports Press Release Point.
