Johannesburg, 21 Jan 2005

The 12th consecutive Oc'e OpenHouse is being held from 28 February and 4 March at the Oc'e facility in Poing. For the duration of Oc'e OpenHouse, Germany becomes an oasis for thousands of printing and document management professionals.

Oc'e OpenHouse is the global launch pad for new Oc'e products. Much information is still under wraps, but here is a foretaste of some of the latest Oc'e products that will be seen at OpenHouse:

The Oc'e TDS800 ProSeries high volume multifunctional wide format system is based on unique Oc'e printing technology and can be configured to the user`s needs. Offering a choice of speeds, independent of job type or workload, and two, four or six rolls, the TDS800 can be upgraded at a later stage to increase both speed and number of rolls.

A new Oc'e black and white cutsheet printer will represent the next step in transaction and variable data print applications. Built for producing long print runs, multiple smaller jobs or proofs on a variety of media, this system maintains its throughput in simplex and duplex.

The Oc'e CS6060 offers top quality and outdoor durability in display graphics. This is a high resolution printing system that delivers high quality 720dpi graphics at production printing speeds. This six-colour printer is ideal for short-run print jobs and is designed for moderate production environments where high quality output and outdoor durability are required.

Introduced in December 2004, the Oc'e CPS800 adds another powerful printing system to Oc'e`s impressive colour line-up. This new machine is geared to the needs of printing professionals in corporate printrooms and commercial printshops. Delivering consistent offset-quality colour, the CPS800 performs reliably and productively on a wide range of media, producing a wide variety of applications. The complete line-up of Oc'e digital colour printing systems will be on display at Oc'e OpenHouse 2005.

Also launched in December 2004, the Oc'e VarioPrint 2100 is a scalable printing solution that gives flexibility and the opportunity to customise functionality. It offers maximum output via multi-tasking and automated image enhancing to ensure consistent quality.

Flexible, modular, scalable, customisable - Oc'e PRISMA workflow solutions improve business processes. Oc'e PRISMA addresses the entire scope of document output management, for both corporate environments and commercial companies. OC'e PRISMA is customised for office, printrooms, printshops, PoD, ERP and transaction.

Running at 70 pages per minute, the Oc'e VarioPrint 3070 forms an integral part of the Oc'e cutsheet printer range for transaction and variable data applications. It`s an ideal entry-level printer, handling volumes of up to 250 000 pages per month. The VarioPrint 3070 is designed to produce long print runs, multiple smaller jobs or proofs on a variety of media types.

As always, industry experts and Oc'e specialists will deliver hands-on presentations featuring the latest developments.
